Product Care Guide

Because good things last longer when they’re looked after.

All SPATZ products are hand printed at SPATZ HQ and designed to survive real life with kids. Follow the care instructions below and your personalised designs should last well beyond your Mini Peep’s growth spurts.

🧸 Fleece Blankets & Pillowcases

Please do:
Cold gentle machine wash. Wash separately before first use. Turn inside out before washing. Use mild detergent only. Line dry out of direct sunlight or tumble dry on low heat.

Please don’t:
Do not soak, bleach, dry clean or iron. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight.

👕 Clothing, Beanies & Hats

Please do:
Cold hand wash or cold gentle machine wash. Wash garments inside out. Wash separately before first wear. Line dry out of direct sunlight or warm tumble dry.

Please don’t:
Do not soak, bleach, dry clean or iron. Do not leave damp in the washing machine.

🍼 Drink Bottles & Sippy Cups

Warm hand wash only with dishwashing liquid
Do not microwave or fill with hot liquids
Store dry with lid slightly open
Avoid prolonged direct sunlight

⚠️ Choking hazard. Contains small parts. Not suitable for children under 3 years.

🍽 Melamine Plates, Cups & Mugs

Dishwasher safe, top rack only
Not suitable for high-temperature, steam or sanitise cycles
Do not microwave
Avoid prolonged direct sunlight

Some dishwasher sanitisation cycles run over 70°C, which can warp melamine. All plates and mugs are BPA free.

Deep Cleaning Drink Bottles

Bi-carb method

Add 2–4 tsp bi-carb soda. Fill with warm water, shake and leave overnight. Rinse thoroughly.

Vinegar method

Mix 1 part vinegar to 4 parts water. Fill bottle and leave overnight. Rinse thoroughly.

Always finish with a normal wash, rinse well, air dry and store with lid off. Do not use bleach.

🎒 Bags, Totes & Pencil Cases

Wipe internal compartments with a damp cloth
Hand wash or cold machine wash
Line dry only
Do not tumble dry
Avoid stain removers on printed areas
Avoid prolonged direct sunlight

🛏 Pillowcases, Cushion Covers & Quilts

Hand wash or cold machine wash
Do not soak, bleach or use soaking agents
Line dry or warm tumble dry
Do not iron
Avoid prolonged direct sunlight

🏖 Towels & Face Washers

Your towels may arrive flat. Don’t panic, they’ll fluff up beautifully after washing.

Line dry or warm tumble dry
Avoid prolonged sun exposure or chlorine contact
Do not iron
